3. What types of marketing and promotion to avoid (such as bot playlists)

5. Know what Meta Ad Marketing is, to some degree (even if you just know the absolute basics).
6. Understand how the industry doesn't work – if you're still under the impression that you can get to the top in this industry by being scouted or discovered, or by having the right feature artist on your song, or by rubbing elbows with "A&R" – you're not ready yet.
